Kijiji community members come from a wide range of backgrounds, geographic locations and experiences. We come to Kijiji to buy and sell locally, find a service, meet a new friend, chat with others and sometimes, just to pass a few minutes. In order to provide some clarity around what is allowed to be posted and what is not, here are some general guidelines:

- No using a person’s real name
- No swearing, degrading or inappropriate language
- If you quote a post with swearing or inappropriate language is used your post can/will be removed as well.
- No name calling (mostly because we’re not in kindergarten anymore)
- No promoting businesses or posting advertising in the discussion forums
- It’s ok to disagree, as there are normally many points of views on any topic
- No linking to other web sites for the purposes of directing traffic away from Kijiji
- One note about posting after a few drinks, you might discover your posts are not as funny the next morning

By posting with any of the above content, your post can/will be removed, sometimes without notice.

If you identify a post you want the moderators to review, click the “!” to let us know and we will review it. If there is a problem and you want to do more than click the “!”, feel free to email Community Support by using the contact us page. Between the moderator and the Kijiji team we will address the issue as quickly and efficiently as possible, remember we do have to follow basic human rights issues, business rules and regulations so it might take a little time but it will be dealt with.

I Have Been A Member Sense July 07. I Have Not Been Able To Get Very Many Replies To My Ad's.So I 've Been Wondering, Why Not Advertise The Site, Or Allow Member's To Post At Least In Other Cities Within Their State, Or The Same Ad In A Different Catagory? It Would Increase The Potential For Their For Sale Items To Be Sold. Thanks A Million Bobbyblue47@Charter.Net

Have just joined today, as I have reported by email to KIJIJI that someone has been using my email address illegally, and posting ads without my consent, and have not heard back from anyone.

I have been receiving phone calls regarding a nintendo wii for sale for one hundred dollars, and there is also an ad posted for a one week sale at my home address,

I have not posted these adds, have just joined today, to try to find out who is doing this, have told people that have called that will be contacting authorities, as this website advises people to do if fraud or illegal action is perceived.

I have sent several emails today listing the ad numbers, and have received no requests from the people who run this website,

DON'T RESPOND TO SALE OF A NINTENDO WII OR A HOUSE SALE WHERE IT SAYS TO SHOW UP AT SIX AM IN THE MORNING.

THESE ADS HAVE BEEN POSTED WITHOUT MY CONSENT, AND ARE USING MY EMAIL ADDRESS ILLEGALLY.

I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THE PEOPLE THAT RUN THE WEBSITE.

DO NOT RESPOND TO ANYONE WITH REGARD TO THE MENTIONED ADS. AS THEY ARE POSTED ILLEGALLY, WITHOUT MY CONSENT, AND LISTING PERSONAL INFORMATION.

I'm new to your site so please forgive my ignorance, but is there an e-mail I can use to request instructions on how to get the Mapquest feature to give proper directions? I don't see that subject in the Frequently Asked Questions section.
