| These dogs do great in family homes that are active for example camping and fishing. They love to go bike riding and my Retriever and Poodle both heard my cattle. They fit easily into a household and love routine from my experience. Both breeds are people lovers and bond well to their people. Anybody can train them really. |

Awwwwwwwww
I have a cousin who always has Doxies as pets. Hers are the short haired ones, but they're her children and are totally spoiled. She usually has 2 or 3 at any given time and keeps them their whole lives. |

I only have one shorthair. I bought her for my daugter, but after I saw how cold she got in the Michigan winters, I went with the longhairs. What I didn't expect are the temperment differences! Shorthairs are very excitable like terriors and longhairs are total type B personalities, more like hounds.
And thanks. I've been involved with dogs for a few decades but I just started breeding (with the help of a top mentor) a few years ago. It's amazing how much you can pay for really good stock. It still shocks me to think how many zeros are behind all those little dogs!
And people say we make money!
