Hi !

I'm a successful hairstylist and single mom who is looking to advance her career by relocating to NY City. The salon I am interested in working for is in Manhatten and I was just curious if anyone could fill me in on what the usual costs are for living in Manhatten or the outlying areas. Whats transportation like? Or daycare? Are rents better in some areas than others?

If anyone could throw a couple tips my way it would be so appreciated!
