Given all of the really bad, careless drivers out there, it pays to do the research and find a safe car. The most popular article on our new blog is about finding a safe car for the first-time driver (although it would benefit all of us to look at the crash and rollover statistics). I had a big accident 20 years ago and came out with a few bruises and some lingering pain and arthritus - nothing I can't live with. My vehicle took a beating and saved my life - way before airbags! We felt this was an important article for everyone - not just first time drivers. It has links to good resources for you to do your own research on the safety and crash ratings of any vehicle you are looking at.
