Seiberskennel first I'm sorry to hear your daughter had cancer i pray she doing well. I did not say giving puppy shots was illegal. And my wife gave her mom insulin for diabetes for years the doctor showed her how not a big deal. But if a dog breeder give these shots and sell the puppy. the breeder sould be responsible if the puppy gets parvo .If the buyer take the puppy to a expensive vet the breeder sould pay the bill. and if the puppy dies after the vet started treatment a day or two later the buyer could very well have a lawsuit and could get big reward I not going down that way

First you'll want to sign up for a hosting account, like Photobucket. Upload your picture/s and then use the image code. Photobucket codes are located right below each image. Click the code that's called "Image Code" and it will copy, then past the code onto your post :

^ That is what your code will look like (I included spaces to show you). That will turn into your picture :
Hope that helps ! |

I buy my vaccines from the vet but I give them my self. I think its up to the breeder if they want to have the vet do it or they do it them selves and I dont think one or the other makes a breeder good or bad. But I really think that if a breeder does not know how to give a shot then something is lacking in the breeders experience even if they still choose to have a vet do their regular vaccinations. It is something a breeder should know how to do. Those different areas of injection sites have different purposes SQ and IM. A breeder should know what those mean. It is not rocket science but simple things a breeder should be up on. A vet is not always available and is not always going to want to come hold your hand with a task that easily done by the breeder. I have a small pharmacy of emergency meds that if something happens I can give immediate attention with the meds while I contact a vet. Most breeders that have been doing it a while could easily go to work at vet clinic and keep up with the vet techs.

I think you first need to be a responsible dog loving person to be a responsible dog breeder. I PERSONLY know BREEDERS THAT TELL PEPOLE I WILL ONLY SELL MY PUPPIES TO FOREVER PET LOVING HOME HAHA. The next thing you see on there web site is i have a retired dog will make a great pet come on now. how can they tell people that and turn around and sale a dog just because there no good for breeding any more we love our dogs!!

Man best freind,my daughter passed away Dec5,04.I dont even want to go down the road of the Parvo thing,it just depends how long before the dog caught it.If someones pup caught Parvo and all the rest were fine I dont see how the breeder should be responsible, when you dont know where they took the pup,now like in the one discussion where all the pups had it that was obviously the breeders fault. You just have to weigh all the facts.
