people againts big tobacco

i feel so silly talking about this subject because its been talked todeath
for 100 years,i have my own beliefs about people who commit crimes
I belief cigarettes are to blame for half of the crimes in the world.
i know ted bundy the serial killer smoked cigs.scott petterson the guy who killed his wife and unborn child did,nt smoke,but his mother.probably did.she had to use oxygen to survive.maybe scott wanted to get revenge
for his mother who got lung problems from smoking.never smoking is everything,quiting in time comes in second,but death comes in third
after a time of hell on earth.people voted a lottery in,but they want vote to band the sell of tobacco products,.i think thats very cruel and strange.
more like what animals do.these are strange days indid.some body needs to get a petition started with atless 1 million names and maybe even sue big tobacco for not stoping the sell of there product before all the damage has been done.make them pay for hospital care and other,
they not going to blame me for there mistake,selling this powerful drug to good hearted people who know not what they do.

I am a smoker, I choose to smoke & if I get cancer that is because I, no one else made me smoke. If people who smoke get cancer it is there fault not the
company who makes the cigs. They have had warnings on the packs/cartons for how long??? If people are to stupid to read the warnings IMO oh well....
I argue alot about this topic as well being a smoker and all. I am all for smoking bans in restaurants & some other public places. I never smoked around kids or elderly people so them bans do not affect me.
I hate the no smoking in bars though, and have not been to a bar since the ban here in ohio.
I do smoke in other public places going into the store, leaving the store ect.

I do not understand though how you can think smoking has anything to do with crime?

For generations my family has had smokers, yea A few have ended up in prison/jail for whatever reasons, One murder and he did not smoke, but thats like 2 out of 30 that do smoke. I could maybe see someone killing someone while quiting smoking, smoking IMO is a drug very addicting and it is hard to quit & can be Very stressful.

i dont smoke and never had, i just dont like how it smells, i dont think it has anything to do with crime, my mom smoked alot and never comitted a crime, i think that if you want to smoke them smoke, chain smoke, whatever you want thats your right have a blast, if you dont tham dont i dont, again have a blast, if you dont want you or your kids to be around smokers go to the non smoking sid or better yet out side, if you want to allow smokers in your bar or restraunt than you should be able to and when someone says, i can smell smoke in the non smoking section tell them to live with it or go someplace else, like i said i dont like the smell of smoke so if its bothering me, i go out side. i dont understand how people have become so selfish that everyone has to make them happy and they just sit there and complain because they dont want smokers in there raustrant so the smokers have to leave instead of them, theres more smokers and people that just dont care than people who complain about it. (i under stand that your going to thing that i'm older because of my selfish comment but i'm not even legal drinking age)

Until now i used to smoke, but i know what consequence will the effect in my health. the governments has already warn the publick to stop smoke, but the people living in this world are not listening. so if we gonna smoke we must check first the area so that we cannot harm the health of other.

I am a smoker, a die hard one at that. I wish I were'nt. I would do anthing if it was out there to help quit !! I've tried it ALL. I still have a 2 month supply of the expensive chatix if anyone needs it.....it made me so sick, patches..nope,gum..nope ,losenges..nope, even the little prescribed thingy you suck on..nope. Nothing works. I am so addicted to this drug...I would need a padded cell for a month with no way to get the smokes, then maybe. But that does ot make me a BAD person. I'm 58, get along with everyone. My ex husband, who I still love dearly just got out of prison....and he never smoked nor anyone in his family so, that blows your crime theory. People just need to quit hating the smokers. We are good people, have good jobs, and help those in need whenever we can. God Bless all of us and our faults
