I had responses to 2 of my ads today right after I posted them, but both decided I was too far away... so might have sold my items otherwise.
I have had several responses to another ad I've had up for a few weeks as well.
I'm satisfied... but really wish Eau Claire WI was one of the city choices as it would be a good market for me. |

Hi All,
I've been using KiJiJi for a month or so now. Waaaaay better then craigslist although i did sell there. I've been getting alot of hits on my ads and like the fact i can see that. I've only sold 2 things but both were out of state. It's great that people can google something and find you here. I put everything i can on to help build the site and tell everyone i come in contact about it. Bet ya picked up 25-30 new people just from my chats in POGO games. I tell all the vendors at the flea markets about it to. It all helps. I linked it to my site, http://tjscrafts1.web.officelive.com/default.aspx ,
and linked my site back to KiJiJi. If you can think of anything else i can do to help just ask.
Thanks for the site,
TJ |

|
|
We've had an excellent history using Kijiji to post an ad for our UKC puppies.
Placed ad on 11/14/07 at 11:10 AM. We received our first response on that day, at 11:17 AM. Now that's pretty phenonmenal to me
We had no issues selling the remaining pups in our first litter, despite the fact that the timing was so close to the Thanksgiving-Christmas holiday season. We had more homes than pups!
By placing that one ad, we were able to have a large pool of future homes for our next litter. We had more buyers than the number of puppies our dog could provide (at one time, that is)!
Using Kijiji was easy, and we had people who didn't know any thing about this breed of stock dog contacting us telling us how adorable our puppies are. Of course we knew our pups were special - they are smart and cute - what else can be said!
One issue though: We live in a very small community that is located at the intersection of three states - Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. We feel the policy of only posting your ads one community versus multiple locations is prohibitive for those people in our situation. Our closest 'real' town, is still small and there is no community listing for it either.
I am happy with our success and feel there is always an opportunity for any organizaton to grow expand. |

Hello,
You have a great looking site, and cheap too. I wouldn't use anything else except PayPal to purchase online. I'm trying as yourself to make money online. I sell ACT all natural energy drink. Check out my site

dovie@drinkactbuilders.com
Maybe we can do some business on our sites to buy something somewhere else. lol

Well, I have had viewers, and one contact but no sales, however, I have only recently posted. I hope to have success with Kijiji, I really like the user friendliness, and ease of posting ads in categories, there could be more categories available such as candles, or maybe furniture and decor could be separated into two categories.
My original goal with Kijiji was to get people to my new online store at: www.mainstwholesale.com and I have had 8 viewers in the first 36 hours I posted my ad with Kijiji!!
Getting closer, but no physical success yet. |

|
|
| I have gotten more calls from my adds of kijiji than on craigslist. Kijiji is a much better looking site and has better options than craigslist. For example, view map, the ability to enlarge pictures and the overall look of the website. I'm glad I came across kijiji. I'm telling everyone about it. |

I recently published a new book. I was reluctant to use Kijiji at first but a friend told me about his success so I decided to try it. I am so glad I did. I posted the listing last month and have since sold 55 copies! (see www.ultimatemortgageguru.com).
Thanks Kijiji!

I found her! My 'forever gal' thru kijiji. I stumbled upon kijiji and started following (the real easy site, thank you BTW!) the steps, and found my 8lbs chi/terr older F mix! and she was 5 blocks away!! and she was afforable!! (im on fixed income, due to long bout of cancer and illness).
My ad was plain and to the point, but straight from my heart.
and here she sits, on my lap as I type this.
Her name was Powder, I believe I will keep it. It's growing on me, and she's had it for 2 years.
I need to find a nail clipper advice colum!! She has looonngg nails, they curl a bit under! i tried clipping just the tip and blood everywhere! i freaked, cuz I figured the tip was ok.... so help!

Congrats!! Don't you just love Kijiji!?!?! I am very happy for you!!
Poor baby on the clipped nail... I know that was an owie! It happens sometimes though.
I love this website -- They offer how to videos for anything you can think of!
Here you go a couple for clipping nails -- there are more on the same topic just use the search feature.

http://www.expertvillage.com/video/8452_dog-grooming-basics-nails.htm
also a tip... if you accidentally cut too short again and cause blood.... smear some peanut butter on nail. It will stop the bleeding quickly (there are products specifically sold for this but none taste as great as the peanut butter ) And your doggy will love licking it clean. |
