I own a beautifully restored Historic 3br/2ba 2800 sf home which has been on the market for 6 months. My credit is now a mess after financing the restoration. The house is much too large and too expensive for me, but I would hate to give up my ability to live in a house after owning for over 40 years.
At least some of the people who have viewed (and loved) my house are unable to purchase it until they sell their own homes. Some just can’t get a large enough mortgage in this current credit atmosphere.
Even if I sell it immediately, I would not be able to qualify for a new mortgage on a smaller home for myself until I work out my credit situation.
I thought…if a potential buyer has a house that is suitable for me to purchase in a year or two, why couldn’t we each lease the other’s house with options to buy? My house would either sell to them at the end of the lease, or I could put it back on the market in, hopefully, a better market. Meanwhile, they would be covering the costs. I would then be able to live in a smaller house with lower overhead.
What am I missing? Any ideas on how best to FIND a potential swapper?

| I'm glad you posted. Coincidentally, I stumbled upon your site today. I have a question. Do I have to wait for Tuesday or Wednesday to ask on your site? In one place on your website you state the program is not available in NY. In another place it states all '50 states'. Do you do business in NY? |

Yes, I do business in New York and yes the questions will be answered live on Tuesday and Wednesday, by the creator of the program, John Alexander.
Can you tell me how you came across my website, and yes what a coincidence, but they are no coincidences. Everything is in Divine Right Order. |
