I was just curious if any one is having awesome sales even though the economy is doing so bad?

I am still selling pups, slowly though. I also have people wanting pups around christmas time. So, things haven't totally stopped here.

Sales are doing fine. Not sure about overall company.

Still have the 2 pups left people call say they are coming and never show up! I really hate that. Next breeding is next year with the Amstaffs hope things change by then. PuppyLuv haven't gone to the restaurant yet hopefully this week so sorry.

Sales have been good.
The most recent litter was all reserved by the time the last one was 7 weeks old. Can't complain on that. They turned 8 weeks old yesterday so we have a rush of people picking up pups.

It amazes me how much people are dropping their prices on dogs. Its so apparent that they are desperate to sale them.

I lowered the price by $50 on the last pup of this past litter. I also had to take him for his 2nd set of puppy vaccinations which included rabies and update health cert. That cost me another $50. But I was able to hold out until I knew for sure he was going to a great home.

There are some breeders who live locally to me. I was shocked to see they have dropped their price by $200+

When I was looking for a Standard poodle stud I had to go 2 states away to even find one. Then I paid a premium price to get the quality I needed for breeding.
Recently I've been seeing 4 different breeders offering AKC standard poodle pups within my own state for $200 and $250 each. The pups are older, which I imagine is why they're cheaper, but I think you're right... as 2 of them are also selling some of their breeding dogs.

I guess I've been lucky, 'cause I really haven't had any trouble selling mine so far and have a waiting list for the next litter which isn't even conceived yet.

So far I am doing great I have one pup from my litter of 4 that isnt officially spoken for and I think I have something in the works for her and they will be 4 weeks old today. Also have waiting list going for future litters. I have not dropped my price, my price is already pretty competitive.
